Your Village

I live in the village,  Islambag. I is under Chunarughat Police Station in the district of  Habiganj. The village is 10 miles away from Habiganj town. It is one mile long and half a mile broad. It is situated on the east-edge of the river, Khuai. The villagers usually go to Habiganj town by bus or CNG. The gas about 5,000 inhabitants. Most of the inhabitants are farmers and day labourers. There are also a few traders, carpenters, fishermen and blacksmiths. Most of the houses of our village are thatched cottages with bamboo well. The has a few tanks, a primary school and a bazar. It is famous for theatrical party and annual fair. Though the villagers suffer from many disadvantages,  they are on the whole happy and contented. The inhabitants are all simple and decent.  Our village life is very peaceful and it is free from the din and bustle of a town life.
